Schotzee came to join us in 2014, after the fall 2013, addition of her daughter, Cougar. In 2013, Firefly Kennels suffered the loss of our matriarch Weimaraner, Rysa...after adding Cougar to the pack it only seemed natural to add her mother. David Downing and Nancy Crandall were very gracious in letting Schotzee come and take up residence here at Firefly. Schotzee, has been a bright spot in a dark time, her antics and always up for a good time attitude, have made us smile and brightened our lives.
Schotzee, has become my constant companion and is never far from my side.
We have leased Schotzee along with David and Nancy, for a 2015-2016 breeding.

Since Schotzee has blessed us with her final litter, she has been spayed and is officially retired and my, Leslie's, personal pet.
