Chai is from our long awaited first Brittany litter here at Firefly. She stood out from the beginning, always into something, starting a commotion with her littermates, and was the first to escape the whelping box.
Chai, has been started in the field, showing great style and intensity on her birds. She, also, has been shown in the conformation ring for her AKC Championship and currently has 6 points with a major in 5 limited weekends out.
The future is bright for this typey, birdy, smart girl. We can't wait to see what we accomplish with Chai.
We look forward to the 2017 wild bird season here in Kansas with her and her brothers.
Update 7/18:
Chai is currently at 10 points with a major, shown limitedly and exclusively from the Bred By class. She also passed most of her testing through OFA.
Update 10/18: Chai finished her AKC championship exclusively from the Bred By classes. We are very proud that she was our second Bred By Champion in 2018.
Update 12/18: Chai has retired from being a show dog and is currently working hard at being a house pet and bed warmer.
