Cappy is from our Stevie x Schotzee litter. He was originally for sale, but when the perfect home didn't come along for him we decided to keep him and grow him out. He has been started in the field as well as the show ring. He currently has a 4 point major towards his AKC championship in only 3 limited weekends out, and he has a class placement at his first National. Showing a lot of promise in the field we are looking forward to the 2017 bird season with this boy. He has plenty of attitude for the ring along with ton of drive and style in the field. Update 7/18:
Cappy is currently at 10 points with both majors. He recently went Best of Breed in Ottauma Iowa over specials for 2 points. He has been shown exclusively from Bred By, in limited showing due to my work schedule. Pictures will be updated soon.
Update 11-3-18
Cappy finished his championship under Edd Bivin in Topeka in August 2018. He followed it up with a Best of Breed and Best Owner Handled in Breed and a Owner Handler Group 2, in Lincoln Nebraska in October, first time out as a special.
Bird season 2018 starts in a few days so Cappy will be hard at work, with a brief break to show as a special at the ABC Nationals.
Being strictly Breeder Owner handled for his limited times out as a special, Cappy has been also shown in the AKC National Owner Handled Series and finished #14 in the country in Brittanys. He was shown a total of 5 weekends from October 11, 2018 to October 9, 2019, with multiple OH group placements to get him in the top 15.
November 2 2019 Cappy finished his Grand Championship in Springfield, just 2 1/2 weeks after moving to Missouri.
November 3 2019 Cappy was honored with a Sporting Group 4 at the Tri City Kennel Club shows under Jim Fehring. 
As of 2023 Cappy is enjoying partial retirement, he will continue to be shown as a veteran at specialties or can be found on the occasional weekend out playing in Juniors with his friend, Allysun Williams.
